Which devices can I synchronise with my SABiDU account?

The SABiDU services are generally independent from a certain device. This means that you can synchronise your SABiDU account with more than one mobile phone, PC or Notebook and the other way around.
The synchronisation with PCs / Notebooks is only possible when using an email-client. To use the SABiDU services with a mobile phone, the device needs to be syncML-capable.

What does SyncML-capable mean?

SyncML is a technical standard that allows communication between computers and mobile phones.
To synchronise your data successfully with your SABiDU account, your mobile phone needs to include this function meaning that it has to be SyncML capable. SABiDU services currently support more than a 1000 different mobile phones types.

How do I find out if my mobile phone is supported?

You have various possibilities to check if your mobile phone is supported by SABiDU services. As a registered user you can find out in your personal area which mobile phones are currently being supported. Detailed information is provided here.
If you do not have a SABiDU account yet, you find out at the registration page if you can use the SABiDU- Mobile Backup with your mobile phone. Detailed information on this is provided here.
If your mobile phone is not listed, please contact us here via email. We are constantly extending our free of charge SABiDU services according to our users' requests.

I have a new mobile phone can I still use my SABiDU?

You can use the SABiDU services with more than a 1000 different mobile phones types. The only necessary feature of your device is that it is SyncML-capable. To check, if your device is supported, you can go in your personal area to the button "Phone configuration" and choose manufacturer and model of your mobile phone. If your phone is listed, you can proceed with the configuration of your mobile phone and afterwards with the synchronisation of your data.
